Welcome to HomeBeLike! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the services we offer. By booking a tour with HomeBeLike, you agree to abide by these terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Booking a Tour
- Booking Process: You can book a tour with HomeBeLike online, up to 48 hours in advance, subject to availability. All bookings must be completed via our secure online payment system, using a valid credit or debit card processed through PayPal.
- Confirmation: Once your booking is successfully processed, you will receive a confirmation email with your tour details and payment receipt. Please verify your booking information upon receipt.
2. Payment
- Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payment via credit and debit cards through PayPal. All payments must be made in full at the time of booking.
- Currency: Payments will be processed in local currency (Dominican Pesos) or in USD, depending on your selected payment method.
- Refunds: Refunds are subject to our cancellation policy outlined below.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
- 24+ Hours Notice: You may cancel your booking or reschedule your tour up to 24 hours before the scheduled tour departure without penalty. In the event of a cancellation, you will receive a full refund to your original method of payment.
- Less Than 24 Hours Notice: If you cancel or request a reschedule within 24 hours of your scheduled tour, unfortunately, we are unable to offer a refund. Your payment will be forfeited in full.
- Rescheduling Policy
- 24+ Hours Notice: You may reschedule your tour once at no additional cost, provided that the rescheduling request is made at least 24 hours before your scheduled tour date. The new tour date must be within the same calendar year and subject to availability.
- Less Than 24 Hours Notice: If you need to reschedule within 24 hours of your tour, we regret that we are unable to accommodate changes, and the tour will be considered canceled with the forfeiture of your payment.
- No-Show Policy
- If you fail to arrive at the designated meeting point at the scheduled time without prior notice, your booking will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be issued.
- Exceptional Circumstances
- In the event of extreme weather conditions, unforeseen circumstances, or other emergencies that affect the operation of the tour, HomeBeLike reserves the right to cancel or reschedule your tour. If such an event occurs, we will offer you the option of a full refund or to reschedule the tour at no additional cost.
- How to Cancel or Reschedule
- To cancel or reschedule your booking, please contact our customer service team at [email protected] as soon as possible. We are happy to assist you in making any necessary changes to your reservation.
- We recommend that you review your tour details and make any changes well in advance to ensure availability and avoid any cancellation fees.
4. Insurance
- Tour Providers' Responsibility: Each tour provider affiliated with HomeBeLike is responsible for ensuring their activities are covered by the appropriate insurance. HomeBeLike does not assume any liability for accidents or incidents that occur during the tour. We recommend that all participants have travel insurance for added protection during their trip.
5. Tour Participation
- Eligibility: You must be in good health and physically able to participate in the tour you have booked. If you have any medical concerns, please inform us in advance.
- Age Restrictions: Some tours may have age restrictions, which will be clearly indicated at the time of booking. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Liability Waiver: By booking a tour with HomeBeLike, you acknowledge and agree to any applicable liability waivers provided by the tour provider.
6. Tour Changes and Modifications
- HomeBeLike Modifications: While we strive to operate all tours as scheduled, HomeBeLike reserves the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel tours if necessary due to operational reasons or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be notified as soon as possible and offered an alternative or a full refund.
- Customer Modifications: If you wish to modify your booking (e.g., change the date), please contact us at least 24 hours before the scheduled tour time. Changes are subject to availability.
7. Limitation of Liability
- No Liability for Damages: HomeBeLike is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from your participation in our tours. By booking, you agree to assume full responsibility for any personal injuries, property damage, or loss that may occur during your tour.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
- Personal Information: HomeBeLike respects your privacy. Your personal and payment information is processed securely through PayPal, and we do not store any sensitive financial data. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
9. Governing Law
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any disputes arising from the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the Dominican Republic.
10. Changes to Terms and Conditions
- HomeBeLike reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and your continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
