National Park Los Haitises

Our tour begins as we journey to the fishermen's town of Sabana de la Mar, where we’ll enjoy the scenic views of the countryside along the coast and the Anamuya mountain range, leading us to the majestic Los Haitises National Park. This region is of extraordinary environmental and recreational value, with unique geological features and a rich diversity of flora and fauna. A true Caribbean oasis, it is home to pristine mangrove forests, ancient Taino cave drawings, secluded beaches, pirate hideouts, and an abundance of endemic species. The park serves as a sanctuary for many bird species and marine life.

Upon arriving at the dock, we will serve coffee, juice, flavored water, and snacks. Then, we’ll board a speedboat to begin our adventure. This excursion will take us through the incredible mangroves of the area, and we’ll visit the stunning nature reserve known as "La Cueva de la Línea," where we’ll discover fascinating petroglyphs of indigenous origin, showcasing the area’s cultural heritage.

After our tour through the mangroves and caves, we’ll arrive at the pristine, crescent-shaped beach of “Punta Arena,” lined with beautiful palm trees. Here, you’ll have time to relax, swim, and spot starfish in the crystal-clear waters. Enjoy a delicious lunch on the beach, including fresh lobster, seafood, and barbecue chicken, accompanied by a glass of wine.

To finish this adventure, feel like a pirate as we board our comfortable boat for a cruise across the bay. Keep an eye out for local birdlife and marine creatures, and if you’re lucky, you may even spot dolphins.
